Terms of sale and license

These terms apply to the MAQNEXA plugin for Autodesk 3ds Max (“MAQNEXA”, “the software”). MAQNEXA is published by Mohamed Zarrouki, an individual business based in Morocco (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].

1. The editions

MAQNEXA has a Free edition and a Pro edition. Both contain the same tools. The Free edition is limited to 20 pieces per run in every tool; Pro has no piece limit. MAQNEXA currently supports 3ds Max 2025 on Windows (64-bit).

2. Free edition license

You may download, install and use the Free edition at no cost, for personal or commercial work, for as long as you like. You may not sell it or publish it as part of another product.

3. Pro license

When you buy Pro, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license that lets one person use MAQNEXA Pro on up to two computers. Each license file is tied to the Machine ID of one computer. Pro includes all 1.x updates. If you replace a computer, we reissue your license for the new one.

4. What you may not do

• share, sell, rent or publish license files;
• remove or work around the license checks;
• reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, except where the law expressly allows it.

5. Orders and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes the payment, issues the invoice, collects the applicable taxes and handles refunds. Prices are in US dollars; taxes are calculated at checkout depending on your country. After payment we email your license file within 24 hours, usually sooner.

6. Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, as described in our refund policy. Refunds are processed by Paddle.

7. Check before you cut

MAQNEXA prepares geometry for CNC routers and laser cutters. Always check the parts, dimensions, slots and DXF files in your CAM software before cutting. You remain responsible for your machine settings, tools and materials.

8. Warranty

The software is provided “as is”. We fix reported problems as fast as we can, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or suitable for every purpose.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost material, machine time, profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you buy applies to your purchase.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
